The Digger Dash

Last week my kiddos participated in the Digger Dash an even for their school Gold Rush Elementary. The Digger Dash helps raise money for items for the school such as new books and lab equipment. Last year the Digger Dash helped purchase a beautiful gazebo that the students can sit under on hot days. While we are all busy getting our students ready for school purchasing all kinds of back to school things I do want to remind everyone how important it is to help support your public schools! Teachers and school staff put so much time into giving our children the best education they can and as parents support is always appreciated. Even if you can't donate volunteer your time. In some ways this can be more valuable.
