Newborn
Congrats on your new little one. I like to photograph little ones sometime between 5 and 8 days, as this is when they are the most sleepy. I have a Milestone Set which includes 5 sessions. This Set is amazing, because it captures the first year of baby's most important milestones. You will also see how much your baby changes in that first year. One of the sessions is a maternity session; however, I know not everyone is interested in a maternity session, so this session can be used for a family session or extra session anytime in that first year. If you are just wanting a newborn session that is also avaliable.
As always remember all baby's are different and react differently to the camera. We will move at baby's pace. If they are uncomfortable with a pose we will move on to a different one!
Clothing
Its a baby!!! Clothing is optional :)
Miscellaneous Items
Please bring any hats, blankets, clothing or props that you would like to have photographed with the baby.
Photo Processing and Ordering
Once the payment for the session is received, I will process and do editing on all photos, which will then be placed on my website for client viewing. A USB of all digital images is included. You can review and order the images of your choosing. 50% off all matte prints will apply in the first 30 days (excludes canvas).
Client Viewing
This can be done on my website katieschmidtphotography.com, click on "client viewing". Look for the photo of you or your family (member) first names should be under the photo, the password will be the clients last name. When you view your images on the website there will be a watermark in the middle of the photo. The watermark will be removed during final processing and will not be on your final product.

This includes a 45-60 minute session for family's, engagement, children, babies, and Maternity (typically 20-30 images per hour). Additional hours can be added at $100.00 per hour. This also includes a 50% discount on all add on print images ordered within 30 days (excludes canvas prints). A minimum payment of $349.00 is due at the time session. If you choose to upgrade to one of the other collections your $349.00 will be applied as a credit towards another collection.
Beautiful and stunning photos are conversation pieces. They sit on your coffee table or are hung on your wall as gorgeous art pieces displaying your beautiful family. Canvases and metal art work will be handed down through the years. Prints will be put in albums and adored by generation after generation. USB drives and CD/DVDs will not be. I understand that photography is an ever changing field, and digital files are desired, but please consider where you choose to print the digital files. Images that are printed in poor quality are a reflection on both myself and my business.
