Engagement
Engagement photos can be such a fun and emotional time. It really makes the fact that you are getting married real! Below I have included some suggestions that will make this time less stressful. Congratulations! You are getting married, let’s have some FUN!
Clothing
(See style guide)
Solid colors tend to shoot nicely. Busy clothing can be somewhat distracting in photos. Generally two outfits is about right. As far as changing clothes, most clients just change where they can, which is often in their vehicle. REMEMBER if you wear transition lenses and the session is outside your lenses will be dark. I cannot fix this!! Please wear frames with lenses that are clear.
Miscellaneous Items
I would recommend bringing a comb and hairspray to help with stray hairs (if needed). Make sure to bring any miscellaneous items that you want in your photos.
Photo Processing and Ordering
Once the payment for the session is received, I will process and do editing on all photos, which will then be placed on my website for client viewing. A USB of all digital images is included. You can review and order the images of your choosing. 50% off all matte prints will apply in the first 30 days (excludes canvas).
Client Viewing
This can be done on my website katieschmidtphotography.com, click on "client viewing". When you view your images on the website there will be a watermark in the middle of the photo. The watermark will be removed during final processing and will not be on your final product.

This includes a 45-60 minute session for family, engagement, children, babies, and maternity (typically 20-30 images per hour). Additional hours can be added at $100.00 per hour. This also includes a 50% discount on all add on print images ordered within 30 days (excludes canvas prints). A minimum payment of $349.00 is due at the time session. If you choose to upgrade to one of the other collections your $349.00 will be applied as a credit towards another collection.
Beautiful and stunning photos are conversation pieces. They sit on your coffee table or are hung on your wall as gorgeous art pieces displaying your beautiful family. Canvases and metal art work will be handed down through the years. Prints will be put in albums and adored by generation after generation. USB drives and CD/DVDs will not be. I understand that photography is an ever changing field, and digital files are desired, but please consider where you choose to print the digital files. Images that are printed in poor quality are a reflection on both myself and my business.
